We love you guys! January 9, 2012 Kimberly Gauthier has joined our team as our newsletter chief and editor. December 18, 2011 Starbuck, the Shepherd-mix girl who had double ACL surgery last August, has found her forever home for Christmas! This is great news - Star had gone through a traumatic ordeal with her hind legs and it's wonderful that she has a new family to take care of her. December 13, 2011 We do have alot of great dogs still available for adoption. Check them out under Available Dogs. If you can, please consider fostering for us in 2012 - there are many dogs that need us. New!! We are now accepting credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) for dog adoptions (Note: service fee will be charged for use). December 3, 2011 "Home for the Holidays" Adoption Event Join FurKidz 911 on Saturday, December 3rd, in Mill Creek Town Center for our LAST adoption event of the year! Give one of our sweet dogs a second chance at a happy home. Mill Creek Town Center We will be there from 10am - 2pm November 14, 2011 We have 17 rescue dogs on our Petfinder.com site (see Available Dogs). Help them find their fur-ever homes for the holidays. We have added 1 more adoption event for the year, "A Home for the Holidays" on Saturday, December 3rd from 10am-2pm at the Mill Creek Town Center. We will be show casing some of our dogs at this event. Please come visit us - Santa will be there to take pictures with! July 6, 2011 We have 2 rescue dogs that are in need of medical assistance which means, we need funding. Starbuck has two torn ACLs and will need surgery for both hind legs. Abby is blind and deaf and needs meds to keep her comfortable. If you are not able to adopt or foster, would you please consider sponsoring these two wonderful dogs and help them get the medical care that they need. To donate, please go to the DONATE link above. Every little bit helps! The FurKidz team will be at the Mill Creek Festival on Saturday, July 16th from 11AM to 6PM. Please stop by and visit with our available rescue dogs! We will also be at the Petco in Ballard for an adoption event the following day (Sunday, July 17th from 10AM to 2PM). May 24, 2011 - RIP BELLA
She passed away today from complications during surgery. Foster parents,Tory and Shane, gave her the best care over the last 7-8 weeks and I know they will miss this sweet girl. |
